The letter we had about the billing changes said the changes will take place on the 5th of October. I assumed this means that our normal October payment will not be taken, and instaed be on the new date of the 26th.
But then the letter goes on to say the change will be effective for any payments claimed from the 19th October onwards.
I'm confused, does this mean we will pay twice next month?

I seem to remember being changed from paying in arrears, to paying in advance, one month, and it did seem to 'charge twice' - I bore in mind there will now be no 'final payment', if I ever want to cancel
