Getting my first laptop. Some advice needed.

Hello, to the point, I am a student, I want a laptop that can deal with Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and 3d studio max.

I've been researching around, and have found one, my budget it £750, or around that mark, not bothered if its like 20, 30 pounds over, but I do intend to buy a Wireless router for my house in the process.

I've looked mainly on ebuyer, but can't see a laptop in that budget range that offers a decent graphics card, but today I found one;

http://www.acerdirect.co.uk/Acer_Asp...69/version.asp

It looks like a good spec, 2GB, good CPU (I presume, dunno about Intel), an 8600M GT, with 1GB of Turbocache memory, 160GB HDD and Vista Premium. The more detailed specs are on that link.

My needed advice is;

1. Is this laptop good for its price?
2. I am planning to ring Acerdirect up, and try and get a better deal, such as 3 year warranty at no extra cost, as I see this feature as being important, but its not within my budget to pay for it. Seeing as its the first time I will have ever done this, any pointers?

Thanks in advance.
