Based on what little information they provide on their website and the contents of this thread...

It's worse than that - you will not get ANY Sky branded channels so if you left VM TV for Sky on the basis of Sky One don't expect to see it with Play TV (if indeed you see anything with them).

If your broadband is with VM then check what package you're on. The channels not delivered via freeview will chew their way through bandwidth at a reasonable rate if delivered at an adequate bandwidth for a good quality picture. This of course gets worse if you start using multi-room setups. If you thought STM was annoying now, imagine what it would do when trying to watch IPTV and having STM kick in...

Typically wireless isn't recommended for streaming because of it's inherent instabilities and problems with interference. Their website talks about using homeplug as the solution - given the cost of homeplug I'll be surprised if they throw that in free of charge. TBH I can't help but feel they use that to avoid having to worry about wiring a house (and the associated insurance/training).
As LSainsbury has said - I think you might want to take a read of the whole thread.
Out of curiosity, I don't suppose they gave you a go live date or any idea of what install date they would promise you?
