I guess I can calm down a bit now, then.

Actually, having thought about it a little, the ADSL traffic management does seem a lot fairer in that it penalises the habitual high bandwidth users and not those, like myself, who stray over the daily limitation (and it IS a limitation however you slice it) once or twice a week and then get extremely frustrated with VM.
