Hang on ... if TCP/IP isnt installed this isnt going to work. Do you have the drivers on a disk for the Ethernet adaptor? If so, try reinstalling it. If its a Linksys adaptor, the drivers are all availible from their site. Then http://80.5.178.26 or http://autoreg.autoregister.net to get the modem installed, reboot at the end (even if the modem reboots itself), and bingo
