I run an IT support company in South Wales and we have been getting several reports over the past few days from clients unable to access their web banking or any of the www.co-operativebank.co.uk website.

I have just managed to find a number for the co-operative bank internet support. They have confirmed that Virgin Media Customers in the South Wales area are unable to access any of the banks website. This has apparently been going on since last Tuesday (4th Sept 2007).

The support staff at the co-operative bank have informed Virgin Media who have as yet not accepted there is a problem.
