Re: Play TV?

jgw2001, you forgot to mention in your post, which is almost exactly the same as the one you posted on DigitalSpy 29/7/7 DS, that you had applied for a job as an installer with them/Vehda (who are based at the same address, Imperium House, BN18 0DF).

And according to this post by an employee of the company, there will be 500,000 installed by mid-2008. Admin edit (Chris T): If you need to post a warning, don't post the link! "Just so you guys don't think we have gone to sleep, http://www.playtvuk.com this is the consumer part of GDBtv. We have 100,000 boxes going into the market by Xmas and a further 400,000 by middle of next year. I am interested in content share deals for quality content that is of BBFC 18R standard/strength."

Here is the parent company's channel list, which is basically freeview and a lot of local niche channels:- Link2

and here are the speeds that the parent company recommend:-
"GDBTV plays at different connection speeds. It is worth checking your line speed by going to the following link and running a simple line speed check: ADSLguide. You may find your connection speed is much lower than your internet provider is telling you. You really need a genuine line speed of 700kbps but for best results 1300kbps is preferred."
