Premium rate calls are routed to the first available operator. The great majority are in India, and they are without exception inflexible and unhelpful. On occasion you may get put through to somebody in Swansea. They are far more amenable and helpful. However the "quick response" will most likely not lead to a "quick resolution" if somebody in India answers the phone. Be prepared to jump through a predefined set of hoops regardless of the problem. And the script they follow is designed to "resolve customer problems" not "resolve VM cockups", so if the problem isn't at your end, it will most likely prove be an expensive waste of time. Oh and one more thing. Just don't attempt to budge somebody in New Delhi from his prepared script. They just get aggressive and accuse you of "not co-operating".
