This happens each time the TV and cable is on standby mode( the cable remote works when the TV is off !!)

The virgin media guys were unhelpful. Anyone's got any thoughts???

this happens on quite a few flat panel tvs its just a case of waiting for the backlight of the tv to warm up it also happens a lot with low energy bulbs the only cure i know of is good old patience
