Also there is the point that game developers have to work to many spec PC's, PS3 developers have to work to 1.
Also PC's need upgrading at least every 2 year. at about 5 year consoles still go strong bringing out great games that would lag on the PC.

You actually only said graphics, so i could have skimped on everything else mate, i built a balanced tower their.
You have a point though, a PS3 has a Blu-Ray drive, and a PC may need upgrading every 2 years or so. Unless, you are prepared to game at 1024x768 on medium or something, which i do anyway, not sure how out of spec my X1600XT is, but it's still holding strong, as was my friends Radeon 9550 until recently (About a month ago, where it decided to shed a ram module somehow)
