Are you serious? you can tell the difference between a piece of chicken thats halaal as opposed to one thats not? assumign they've been cooked exactly the same way? and halaal tastes worse? Wow, your sense of taste is amazing.

Regarding an earleir point that Xaccers made, yes halaal should apply throughout the animal's life cycle, i.e it should be well reared. The principle of battery farmed chickens for halaal slaughter is a bit hypocritical, but rightly or wrongly, the emphasis is placed on the actual slaughter. (But I think w're veering of topic and might get in trouble)
