Hi, this has also happened to me a few weeks ago, messed up over 9 hrs of programs! I got a LiteOn HD-A740GX DVD recorder with 160GB HDD PVR, I took every single lead out of both the V+ and the PVR, then re-insterted them again and touch wood, since then it hasnt happened again, so might be something worth a try
