Hi, and thanks for the reply.

I have a SONY RDR-HX725 recorder. I've copied a number of things to it from the V+ since it was installed on 3rd April, but this is the first time I've experienced the audio switch.

It's odd, because (as you know) the V+ is connected to the recorder through its own SCART lead, so I would assume that whatever goes out on that connection is all that can be recorded. Where it gets the 'live TV' audio from is beyond me!
