Re: sticking the boot in

I wouldn't want to see Virgin Media *trash* Sky, what I would like to see is them putting up a decent fight and providing a product that is as good, if not better, than Sky's.

Up until now, Sky's offering has always been the more polished product.....even though I've always preferred cable myself, I accept that Sky has usually led and cable has struggled even to follow.

Now though, with V+, cable has the opportunity to really take the fight Sky. V+ is not perfect yet, but it's early days and I'm confident that finally the cable industry is serious about competing with Sky on the TV platform.

I wholeheartedly welcome that....it should have started in 1994, but better late than never.
