There is a danger in giving this much power to the students...especially if there was no chance of discussion about it.
I'm also pretty certain that statistically it could be proven that he had his facts right but the school just didn't want to face any litigation about it.
So I think he should have stayed after some pretty open discussion by everyone otherwise we will have no one having a right to an opinion that the majority of the students disagree with.I'm all for sensitivity but not for downright ignoring of facts.Storm in a teacup.If he had struck a pupil yes but because he has a difference of opinion he should lose work?..I think not.
I wonder if he has a union.
Note to myself..see a union rep and get paid up this week..
