I suspect it is the box, since the picture is fine when you first tune it in. To be honest, I've given up with it anyway since the TV in the bedroom is 4:3 and the TV in the living room is 16:9 and with the STB set for 16:9 the picture is all squished up in the bedroom. I have a freeview PVR in the bedroom which works great off a set top aerial. Most of what we watch late at night is on freeview so it works fine for us for now.

If we decide we really want it later, I'll persue it through faults but I don't really have the time to waste queuing/on hold at the moment. I would quite like the V+ box purely for it's PVR capabilities and series linking but I can get by with the Freeview PVR for now.
