Been trying for the last month to get the TV taken off my service (work will pay for SKY

) keeping the BB and telephone, swapping out the STB for a SACM.
Finally get through and get it all sorted yesterday, engineering visiting next friday, great I thought until today my email address doesn't exist anymore!!!!!
Turns out that they 'unattached' the mailbox from my account and when they 'reattached' it today they lost all the emails
First CS guy today wanted my email account password as well just to try and wind me up a bit more!!!
So ask for them to be restored from backup at which point CS tranfers me to Tech Support (India?) and I'm told NTL do backups and when I asked about disaster recovery I was told NTL don't have a disaster recovery plan!!
So question to those in the know here is, do NTL do backups and can email be restored?
I'm just a tad annoyed about it cos I'd get hauled over the coals at work if my team didn't backup and have the ability to restore emails at work, ok so maybe I shouldn't of left them only on their servers but still
