I reformatted my PC today to see if this was causing the problem.

Had 10mb all day. Got to around 7.00pm and my broadband connection has gone down to 2mb.

1st 512K took 3093 ms = 165.5 KB/sec, approx 1364 Kbps, 1.33 Mbps
2nd 512K took 5344 ms = 95.8 KB/sec, approx 789 Kbps, 0.77 Mbps
3rd 512K took 3141 ms = 163 KB/sec, approx 1343 Kbps, 1.31 Mbps
4th 512K took 3140 ms = 163.1 KB/sec, approx 1344 Kbps, 1.31 Mbps

Overall Average Speed = approx 1210 Kbps, 1.18 Mbps

Seems that NTL cannot provide a 10mb service at night and at weekends.

Well in the Nottingham area that is.

Looks like another friendly call to the ts team in India.

2nd 512K took 438 ms = 1169 KB/sec, approx 9633 Kbps, 9.41 Mbps
3rd 512K took 453 ms = 1130.2 KB/sec, approx 9313 Kbps, 9.09 Mbps
4th 512K took 422 ms = 1213.3 KB/sec, approx 9998 Kbps, 9.76 Mbps

Overall Average Speed = approx 9650 Kbps, 9.42 Mbps

BB connection back to normal, until 2moro at 7.00pm.
