DRM to me just encourages piracy. If you buy a legit version of a mp3, you're limited by what you can do with it. Alternative is to download from one of the various sites for free and have the freedom to do with the track as you see fit. As far as I can see DRM does more harm to the industry than to abandon it.

The same is also true for the 'grey imports' of consoles such as PSP, PS3. So long as Sony get their money, why should it matter where the consoles end up. To me, all these things are designed to screw more money out of consumers. If they treated us more fairly, these companies would probably find we are willing to spend more money on their products.
