Well they're obviously worried by an NTL buyout/merger.

I've said before that NTL are always on a loser with Sky. Sky have the content AND the delivery system. So far, NTL have just done delivery and are always at Sky's bec' and call. Personally, I would have preferred the government to force Sky to split into two halves but they're such a weak, ineffectual lot it would never happen. The content available with ITV would be NTL's way of competeing.
