THIS MESSAGE ALSO APPEARS AFTER I SET MY SYSTEM TO IGNOER AND INSTALL THE DRIVER EVEN IT IS NOT DIGITALLY SIGNED
today i tried the device again and i browsed for the filr he requested and then the message "installation cannot be completed "erroe performing inpage operation"but without the statement" drive not accessible"
what dose that mean? pls tell me step by step how to solve this problem
i strongly need to install my irda device

did you get a CD with the device, the driver should be there???
- you may need to load the driver first, then connect the device, and let your system detect the new hardware??
don't worry, too much about the warnings saying 'not signed' , imo?
If I was you, I would uninstall all traces of the device, unplug it, reboot.
Then re-install the device software from the CD, and only then, plug the device in, it should be identified by 'plug an pray' and bob will be your mothers sisters husband
