Online Billing

An chance NTL may allow us to access your accounts online, Most other Companies allow this nowadays, I can do this on my Virgin Mobile, My Electricity + Gas Company, Not sure about water company but that bill is constant.

If they did this we could see details of our packages, maybe upgrade and downgrade as required, without the phone calls to the call centres.

IE so many times has there been a good film on and by the time you realise the csc is closed, etc.

Any thoughts ???

Re: Online Billing

ntl have bigger problems with their billing systems at the moment - they still have 4 or 5 different systems depending on area that they are all trying to merge into one. I think the current plan is to move everyone onto the Telewest billing system, which does include some online account management.

If they were to implement online billing now, then they would need to do it 4 or 5 times to work for each area.

Correct. When its all on ICOMs they would be able to do it easily.

Re: Online Billing

I would just be happy if NTL emailed a bill or perhaps sent one via post!

Is there some money saving scheme where they have decided to stop sending out bills?

I wouldnt mind so much if i could view it online, ive paid a bit over the odds for the last yr or so, i have no idea what my credit is.

According to the CS rep I spoke to at TW the other day, TW are only just finishing finalising on one billing system, nevermind the NTL half. That was the reason I was given as to why I couldn't make any changes to my TV package anyway. (And it was an upgrade!)
