How Could I Pay A Bill You Have Never Sent Me>?
I moved home in nov 05, i kept Telewest informed well in advance, unfortunatly they couldnt provide service at my new property so i cancelled the service. I had no comunication from Telewest untill jan 06 when i recieved a threatening letter from a debt collection agency, i paid this the very day i recieved it. When i cancelled the service i was told that i would recieve a final bill and a bag to return the modem in, niether of these things ever happened. My problem now is that my credit report shows a negative entry regards telewest for an outstanding bill of £67 wich i paid as per above, i think this is completly unfair and is preventing my from getting a suitable mortage because of the negative entry, it is showing that its satisfied but will never the less stay on my records for 6 years! i have played ball with telewest throughout the move and was impressed with them enough to have stayed with them for years had they been able to provide service at my new address, wich is crazy anyway as i am only a couple of hundred yards away from one of their head offices! They have told me numerous times that this is sorted and have reffered me to this site when i asked for dtails of an independant ombudsman. Come on telewest! get this sorted, i may be a past customer but you have had lots of my money over the years.
