NTL BBPlus Billing Problem

I was on the 2mb BB service and I called this morning to downgrade to the 1mb service as I don't use the net that much, I was only on the 2mb service because I used more than the 3GB a month but less than 30GB. Now it is unlimited it makes sense to downgrade. Anyway they downgraded me straight away which was great and I told the lady I did not want the BB plus as I don't want to pay the 3.99 for it as I was getting it free with the 2mb service not that I ever used it anyway.

However she said ok it is gone, But I still have access to it?

I called earlier and the bloke I spoke to told me it is not on my bill and hense he did not know why I still had access. He told me to ignore it but I said I did not want to do this as it amounts to theft of service and knowing my luck in a years time I will get a bill for it backdated to god knows when!

I don't use it and don't want it so what can I do to get this resolved as CS don't seem to know?

Re: NTL BBPlus Billing Problem

i wouldn't worry about it too much... as long as there are notes on the accounts confirming that you have requested it be removed, then they won't be able to backdate any charges.

Re: NTL BBPlus Billing Problem

same with me, downgraded from 2 to 1meg and can still access bb+. I tried to explain on the phone to them while i was downgrading that i no longer wanted bb+ but as with you they couldnt identify a bb+ payment on bill so they just said dont worry ^^ i better not get charged for it, im allready waiting for the dodgy bill for the changeover period - you know the ones, we charged you for half of next month then credited you a quarter of the following month etc etc. end result usualy its wrong and they tried to fleece you.
