NTL screw up and ive not even been connected yet!

Well my initial worries have proven right! I registered for 2mb BB via my GF's NTL account (which I specified to the CS operator!) only NTL have somehow managed to send a pin number and username set-up for the guy who owned the house before us... how the hell have they managed to screw up this badly?

Talk about a waste of time me waiting 15 mins to give them all MY details! For NTL's sake I hope im connected by the end of 2moro or they can stick thier account up thier ****!

One VERY unhappy new customer!

OR me if they turn up at MY house... Rang up CS (waited another 20 mins) and apparently it was down to a 'Computer error'.... silly me, here I am thinking it was the divot taking the initial call. ;-)

Thanks fellas... Happy to report that the engineer turned up between the allocated time slot, fitted everything in about 5 to 10 mins (250 modem :-) and loads and LOADS of spare cable to get me all around my house. Service so far (touch wood) has been fantastic, downloading around 240kbps, if anything BETTER than my Wanadoo 2mb service!

Still a little ****ed off at the crap CS operator that sent out details to the wrong person... infact as we are forwarding mail to the previous home owner I could have quite easily sent him my pin details.
