cancellation of ntl broadband
i am turning to cableforum in disbelief at the problems of cancelling my ntl services.
i contacted them on 11/10/05 to cancel. i was told i had to give 30 days notice. my services (email + ftp) ceased about 11/11/05.
i contacted them again about 29/11/05 after continuing to receive bills and they assured me again that it would be cancelled
this morning i have received a payment reminder notice dated 7th december.
if i can avoid it id rather not have to ring them again because i have no confindence in there ability to cancel my services + i am really going to loose my patience when i speak to them coz they should have sorted this all out properly the first time i rang.
please pm me if u work in ntl and u can help me
i know it was possible before to request forum members who work in ntl to help out. hope its still possible now.

ill just quickly add that i have had same problem cancelling my sisters services. she rang up to give notice. she rang again and they said she never called to give notice. it was only after insisting that she had and requesting to escalate to supervisor that they backed down.
