Line Rental Query

On my Bill I am paying for the Digital Base pack and Telephone at £21.50 + the Family Pack at £8.50 = £32. Does this include the line rental as I also have a seperate charge of £10.50 for this?

No, the £32 includes your phone line. And VAT if that's of any help.

Looks like you're being charged twice for your phone line.

I will need to look over my older bills but probably at least for six months as this was when I last changed any of my services..

It is only recently I have decided to try to cut my monthly bills and actually revised what I was being charged for.

The family pack costs £19.50 pcm exclusive of line rental (£10.50) which adds up to a total of £30, yet I am paying £32???

These NTL bills are quite confusing when you try to understand them.

Have I missed something?

How do you pay your NTL bill? The extra £2 could be for paying other than by Direct Debit.

How much do you actually pay? Is it £32 or £43.50 (£32 + additional line rental)

I pay by DD so I don't get the £2 charge, I just can't add up...

Yeah, thats only £30, I also get billed £10.50 as a seperate Line Rental charge and £37.99 for my BB giving me a total monthly bill of (checks sums) £78.49 before calls.

I used to be on Talk Unlimited 24 and it looks like when I removed that from my service, the £15.50 TU24 charge was changed to a Line Rental charge of £10.50 despite my Line Rental already being charged through the TV package.

I think I am starting to get my head round all this.

Result! I got a credit put on my account of £134 and also got my 10MB BB for 3 months at half price. Thanks to Heather in Belshill for making my day.
