Random Bill

We cancelled all NTL services at the end of the summer due to the appalling service we received, received a final bill and paid it (this was after the 12 month contract was up BTW).

Seems we received a bill for about £30 a week or so ago, wth no indication of what it was for or when. Trouble is, the guy whose name the bill was in moved out at the end of august, and NTL support won't speak to anyone apart from him. Any ideas what I can do?

Thanks in advance...

Opening it would have solved nothing, it certainly wont have his new address on.
You could have just written on it " person unknown at this address " and put it in a postbox, let him worry about his credit rating, how do you know he did not inform NTL he was moving? and its just been an oversight by NTL?

Re: Random Bill

You need to send it back to ntl. Mark the envelope "opened in error - addresssee gone away - forwarding address unknown".

You don't want a bill to this other guy kicking around and ntl starting to get heavy looking for payment and placing a black makr on your current address credit rating.
