Dilemna over possible package change

Hi guys n gals

I'm currently on phone L, BB L, TV XL with a loyalty discount (not sure exactly how much as it is no longer specified). For that i pay £48-70 inc a paper bill fee. I also get sky sports for an additional £22.50. Using Ambit 255 modem and Samsung 2110 c STB. I hardly use the phone and don't really need "L" as i have a BT line also (our main line).

I'm considering switching to an online offer i.e. TV XL, Tivo 500 GB, BB L and phone M with free installation if ordered online. Cost £54.90 inc £ 3 per month for the tivo. i have a number of questions if i may as i know i can get a definitive answer here.

1. Is there any way i can keep the loyalty bonus (i'm guessing the answer is No.)
2. Does the Tivo box replace the Samsung box or do i get to keep both in different rooms ?
3. Does an engineer actually need to visit ?
4. How much extra would sky sports HD be ?
5. Would i lose the free install if i rang to order ? (i'd prefer to speak to someone on the UK side of things if possible).
6. Is the ambit 255 capable of 20 MB.

Sorry for the random order and if some of these are obvious answers, i haven't changed packages in a very long time.

I really appreciate any advice given.

p.s. would i get the first 3 months free as a (very longstanding) existing customer ?

I was sure any change burns the loyalty discount, seems to be the case when people were talking about XL20-XL30 upgrade and paying the activation.

Re: Dilemna over possible package change

Thanks JB66 that was quick !! I fear Matth may be right regarding the loyalty discount but as you suggest i'll ring retentions.

Just two more things (probably) ....
regarding them letting me keep the old box - would they move it for me, as there's no point having an sd box and an hd box at the same tv point.

Also would the changeover involve moving from @ntlworld,com to @virginmedia.com, or more importantly would it mean losing my (essential) ntlworld.com e-mail addys.?

thanks again
