Confused over new contract.
I recently called virgin to reduce some of my services. Previously I was on xl tv, xl phone and 20mb boradband. I have changed to xl tv, m phone and l boradband with a monthly charge of £51.40. However there are a couple of things confusing me on my new contract.
The new contract shows the following:-
Promotional offers taken
Loyalty discount £10 per month
Virgin phone
Loyalty customer
Fully itemised billing
Line rental
Virgin boradband
Wireless boradband
Broadband size: L
Virgin tv
Tv size: XL
0001 additional V box
V HD monthly fee
Tivo monthly fee
Monthly service charge (during promotional offer) £51.40
monthly service charge (after promotional offer) £61.40
Other items & charges
Loyalty customer. £0.00
Now there are two things i'd like clearing up if anyone can.
First there was no mention of the price increasing after any period of time and there is no time period mentioned on the contract relating to the £10 loyalty discount, does this mean that the discount is ongoing or will it be removed after a period of time?
Second is the mention of wireless broadband. I currently have the NTL256 modem and white netgear wireless router and have had it for a few years. last year when I upgraded to Tivo the new contract I got then had no changes to the broadband section. Does this mean that they are going to send me a (super)hub or is it refering to my existing kit or is it an error?
Cheers.
