HD service charges ?

We used to have 2 x V+HD recordable boxes and a basic Samsung box.

Then replaced one with a Tivo and had a V+HD, Tivo and the old Samsung box (still 3 in total). At installation time engineer apparently said bill will go down by £7 as the "HD" charge can come off, which it did.

Got a new HD telly so replaced the old Samsung with a Cisco VHD box, understand the £20 charge, but no movies or sports HD channels appeared. Phoned up and told it is £7 per month, got it activated, but is this correct ?

Re: HD service charges ?

£7 charge is correct, but if you are out of contract it's open to negotiation and i only paid an extra £3 for the HD....

Re: HD service charges ?

Was a VIP 50 customer, changed to it when it was £85 at the start, actually ended up with a small reduction at the time iirc.

We did then have 50mb broadband or XXL added when it available and then the third box, but technically still on VIP50.

Will wait for the charges to appear online, in a few days then ring up!

Going of at a tangent, if i change the V+HD to a second Tivo, will I get £7 off again ?

Bill is on the website today.

They have not added an extra £7 so looks like the "VIP50" overall discount still apllies to 3 boxes.

Now to switch to another Tivo
