20mb Offered, is that right!?
Hi,
I'm currently on M+ TV, L BB phone with evening/weekends and TiVo for £32 PM. I called up Retentions yesterday for a quote to move up to a higher BB package. They offered me 20mb BB for another £5 PM. Is that correct, should they have been able to offer me 20mb or should be asking for 30mb at that upgrade price offer?
I've ended up being shuffled down to the lowest Broadband speed due to all the speed upgrades over recent years. My Broadband connection started out life on the middle tier, was upgraded to 4mb, then eventually to 10mb. Then when all the 2mb customers were moved up to 10mb too I've now ended up being on the lowest tier.. Fair?
Anyhow, my main focus at the moment is not being upgraded to then find I'm on a package then then ends up dropped!
Thanks in advance.

Depends if you want to pay the £30 to get the SuperHub or not. If you do then you could get 30Mbit, if you don't you would get 20Mbit

To make matters more complicated, I was offered a superhub and no charge was mentioned!

Then you should have been offered 30Mbit.
20Mbit is only still on the system for those customers who don't want to get the SuperHub (for whatever reason)

I guess it could have been that I got a slightly less than tech savy CS person :-)
Does the £5 P/M extra sound right?

Re: 20mb Offered, is that right!?
I think from your description you were on BB L when you phoned up. Depending how long you've had the bundle for without any significant changes, then £5 a month extra does sound about right
EDIT: Ignore all that, £5 a month is the current difference between BB L and BB XL anyway
