As above,
Very strange and not what promised.
Also, it doesn't add up when you think about it.

TVXL
BB 30MB
Phone XL
2nd box in bedroom paying £6.50 pm

Call to VM CEO's office Tivo install booked for Dec 3rd.
Was told that I'd qualify for the 2nd box discount so would get £6.50 reduced off my bill which when you factor in Tivo fee of £3 pm would save me £3 pm on my current Mothly Services.
Fab.

New contract in... £62.90 pm
Before Tivo install ...Monthly Service Charge £61.40
£1.50 MORE?

why is it more when (technically) it should be £3.00 less?
I know its just small change, but why is this the case i wonder?

ta for any suggestions.

Unclear what you are doing/asking.
Are you adding TiVo (so will have 3 boxes) or are you upgrading one of them (so you still have only two)?

"2nd box discount" only applies when customers with only ONE box upgrade to install TiVo as their 2nd box (so keep original box).

I'm upgrading the V+ box to TiVo and having my V+ moved to the bedroom to replace the basic box.
Only two boxes.

Sorry for the confusion.

OKay, so you went from 2 boxes. Don't believe that qualifies for "free multiroom" which is for 1 box to 2 box upgrade. You should get back on to whoever told you that you did qualify and complain about being mislead!

Re: This is odd...added Tivo with 2nd box yet paying MORE on new contract?

No, I've checked and I do qualify for 2nd box discount (says so on the new contract as well)

Phoned CS yesterday and talked me through it...
As I'm taking out a new package my "discount package" has changed and I've lost a £3 credit applied each month.
Checked my past statements and I've had it for 12 months already, so fair enough.

Anyways, looking forward to TiVo (with new updates) coming in December.

Thanks
