Reducing services on a contract

Hi all,

I have been having issues with my cable broadband for close to 6 months. For months I was told it was a fault in the area, and now they are denying there is any issue with my connection.

I'm sick of waiting for a fix, so I want to move to a different ISP, but want to keep my TV package.

Am I permitted to remove services from my contract without incurring some sort of termination fee on the contract? If not, do I have a legal leg to stand on to get out of the contract as VM have failed to provide a satisfactory service and failed to repair it in reasonable time?

Thanks

Re: Reducing services on a contract

You would be liable for some termination fee for cancelling services early.

What would be useful is some information about your problems which someone on the forum may be able to diagnose quickly.

e.g power levels on modem, what you are connecting with and what you see when the network is playing up.
