Lied to by mobile
I have been with Virgin since Nynex days ( about 17 years )
I have always been happy with the service I get and have no interest in leaving, but to say i am angry is an understatement.
In March I was cold called by Virgin Mobile and offered 2 free Phones and a Mobile dongle providing I stayed with Virgin for 24 months (no problems there)
I specifically asked if I wanted to upgrade in the future to Tivo and 100Mb would it cause any problems and was given the answer NO there would be no issues.
Last week I rang up to see how much an increase to 100Mb would be and was told £31 a month. This is because mobile had reduced my TV/Phone and Internet bill by the amount equal to the 3 bills for the new items so that the total was the same as before. I was then told that the CS I was talking to could not connect to the mobile side to check what had happened.
How come mobile can alter my main bills but it cannot be done the other way?
I got so annoyed that I hung up before I lost my temper, this is because I know it was not the fault of the CS I was talking to and it would not have been fair to vent my spleen at them.
Is there any way that I can sort this? because i still want 100Mb
and is there any way I can get the message across that I have been blatently miss-sold the mobile products by the lies i was told?
