hi i was with virgin media 2 years ago left 6 month's ago and i paid the full amount but when i wanted to come back they told me i owe them money from a different address in 2003 i never lived at lol and wanted me to clear my name as prove i know my legal rights i could take this matter to courts or just join another company and forget?

If you are listed, somehow, as owing money, has it affected your credit rating?
If Virgin's records say you owe money, and you can't get clear information from them as to what when and how so you can refute that I'd be submitting a DPA request from them. You'll then know what they have on you so that you can start to counteract and refute things requiring them to change their incorrect records.
