Re: Your credit limit is £120.00 ???

Can't find the credit limit bit for my account. Is that because there is no limit on my account or is there an error somewhere?

The 'Your account and payments' section just give the direct debit info and the date the next direct debit will be taken from my bank account.

Because I think they tweaked it so that one off charges don't count.

Your services are restricted until you bring the balance below the credit limit

Re: Your credit limit is £120.00?

All your services stop working until you make a payment towards your account to bring it below a balance on £120

I would point out that managing to run up a balance of £120 per bill is very difficult to do unless you phone a lot of premium rate lines etc

Re: Your credit limit is £120.00?

Yup

There is a 'buffer zone' so if you go over an amount slightly lower than the limit, in your case probably £100, Virgin will send letters out (and put a warning on My VM) saying 'You are getting near your limit', just so you can manage it and make sure you don't go over

Re: Your credit limit is £120.00?

Presumably, the credit limit only includes variable charges as all services are billed in advance, and thus not credit?
