Broadband Medium Price?
So I've been with Virgin since Blueyonder and am currently on their old medium broadband 10mb which has extremely low throttling caps of 1.5gb daytime and 750mb in the evening which gets used up near enough every night with 3 people using computers at the same time.
The current bill costs: £50.99
Telephone Line Rental: £12.99
Phone, TV & B B Bundle Saving: -£9.50
T V Size: X L: £26.00
Broadband Size: M: £21.50
If I create a bundle on the "build a bundle" option it costs £50.99 for the same services but with Large broadband.
How much should Large broadband cost because their prices are so unclear?
Thanks

Re: Broadband Medium Price?
For the most part BB L costs the same as the withdrawn BB M, however as far as I know it's no longer possible to upgrade from BB M to BB L.
If you are on BB M, the next upgrade possible is to BB XL 30

We do see that upgrade from M to L no idea as to why but it is still available.

Re: Broadband Medium Price?
We get customers wondering why they are still only getting 10Mb and are doubly confused when we inform them that the actual speed has not gone up only the amount they can download, we then often transfer them to Customer Relations for them to sort out.

Nope, its just Virginmedias business model, but its ok they're only "hiring" the name name VIRGIN.
Once they have rinsed all there customers of cash and paid off a bit of the debts they will drop the VIRGIN brand and reappear, probably under the umbrella of one of the massive American cable Co's.
So CABLEVISION-UK is probably not to far away, or TIMEWARNER-UK.

Rather doubtful to say the least.

Re: Broadband Medium Price?
Another thing I'm not sure about is whether the new faster uploads are supported by the Motorola SB5100 which we've had for years. My area is getting them "Jun-11" according to the schedule but no change so far.

Re: Broadband Medium Price?
For anyone else with the SB5100 not receiving the new uploads post on the Virgin Media forums and if your area has already been upgraded they'll send you a new one.
I'm sure that according to the specs of the modem they support the new uploads but Virgin must of put some sort of cap on them or something. :S
