What is it with telephone line rental keep going up? From August it's going to be £13.90 which will match BT's line rental price. Surely they should be trying to provide cheaper line rental than competitors it's ridiculous!
Most getting TV or Broadband get the phone service as it discounts the price of the services.. They don't then need to discount the phone service as very few want just that service as a standalone.
I'd say it's a clever and good move from virgins point of view as the pricing will make it look a better deal than before to get other services at the same time in the package. Makes sence to me in all honesty to up the single service prices to make a package a better looking deal.
