How long before cut-off?
Hi guys,
I have just been made redundant and as a result I will unfortunately have to cancel my VM services. Does Virgin charge for a month in advance and will not cut me off right away or will it be immediate?
Thanks.

Re: How long before cut-off?
No clue on the answer to your question Thunder, sorry to hear about your job loss but while you have the chance find all the accounts, bank, leccy, water, etc that you have listed your virgin media email addy as one of your contact points and change them all to a hotmail / gmail addy..
Doing this will save you loads of hassle later on.

Good advice as many people only find this out after their account is closed at which point it is to late.
You will probably have to give a months notice and they may be able to help reduce the cost enough for you to stay a customer which will help with your search for a new job.
Sorry to hear about the redundancy so good luck for the future.

Go to the bank/building society and explain you situation as they usually are pretty good and may help formulate a payment plan or even freeze your mortgage for up to a year in some cases.
Do not let your home go unless you really have to as you may regret it.
