Retentions deal - was this good?

Been with VM for about 18 months and so out of contract now.

I cancelled a few days ago as I have just had O2 Home Phone and Broadband installed and had intended to switch but VM retentions called and offered me the following deal:

XL TV with TiVo 500GB
XXL Broadband
M Phone
Caller Display

£53.49 a month with a one off £49.95 for the TiVo (no install charge).

I was paying £49.49 for M+ TV with V+, XXL BB and M Phone so it's very little extra for a lot more TV.

It seemed very good value to me so I accepted and they've arranged to install the TiVo on Tuesday.

I would think it is good as if you were on M+ the TiVo charge would be £8 per month. So that is all I know there will be others over to answer you better on this, But I think that you have done well. Also as you say you have got all the extra channels for little extra.
