Ebilling site messed up?

When I login to ebilling using Firefox, the page (https://my.virginmedia.com/home/index) loads and then continues to refresh constantly so I cannot see any data. Tried to call 150 twice but after going through the process of putting the three characters of my password in, on each occasion, I'm told that I might have to wait 10 minutes so "thanks and goodbye".

What a mess.

Happens to me as well. It opened ok with IE so I just use that for ebilling.

IE works for me to. Still getting the "thanks and goodbye" because we're unusually busy messages. I am sick of listening to the woman on their DISA with her patronising, simplistic way of explaining things.

Try it in FF 3.6.10. Doesn't right now, for me. Going to upgrade to .11 and see if that fixes it before considering 4.0.1.

Firefox 3.6.17 also didn't work so upgraded to 4.0.1. Now works.

Re: Ebilling site messed up?

would like to upgrade to FF 4 but alas can't then use my roboform password manager.

However if a screw my eyes a lil and stare at the screen I get a glimpse of what my bill will be this month before it vanishes. At 9.6mb its not easy peasy! Geeeez Virgin make you work damn hard for the priviledge of paying them...what a lucky guy I am
Maybe next month if we are really good they will reverse the numbers just be make it that bit harder to guess . OOOOOOOH can't wait !!!!

I hate it when they tell you in an email too, kinda spoils the game I think.

Nurse ....NURSE!!

I'm trying to change my details on this new system but every new password i try to enter isn't allowed; is there a set of parameters that the password must comply to? There's no help whatsoever on the site.

Snap, same problem here.
I've send a help request via the feedback form on the site, as well as tried resetting my PIN and being resent my username, even creating a new email address, all to no avail.

Wonder if it might be a browser thing. FireFox 4.0.1 on Ubuntu Linux here, what about you ?

Oh, I found the answer at http://community.virginmedia.com/t5/...ed/td-p/418487
Apparently Virgin reckon 'password1' is more secure than '34HlWwfdFSAI(T^UIVG&*' and only allow the former. But don't explain that anywhere.
Sigh.

Stupid, stupid stupid, stupid Virgin
