VIP50 Order - No Telco Ports

Ordered VIP50, received a letter informing there are no telco ports available, shortly before I received the letter delaying installation by 2 - 4 weeks as ducts are blocked.

What will I be charged on the monthly fee, any idea?

Given that I won't be able to take triple play will they be trying to charge me for the BBI and DTV parts on an a la carte basis or the VIP50 price with a refund of telco charges?

Cheers.

Re: VIP50 Order - No Telco Ports

A telco capacity upgrade should be completed within that timeframe I would imagine, hard to say though. From what I remember you may be charged a la carte as you suggest, until your Telco is connected, I seem to remember all the package discounts being applied to phone side of the billing system.

Any billing staff kicking about that may be able to answer this better?

Be interesting to find this out, waiting on contractors to get to us also as from what I can gather cable has never been installed here and the drop has never been connected.

Re: VIP50 Order - No Telco Ports

A brief update. The contractor work should have been done by no later than tomorrow, zero indication, at all, that it has been progressed. The Twitter team have no idea when it will happen.

I'm very jealous of VM's contractors, wish my employer's customers were kind enough to just leave us to do things whenever we feel like it and not bother us with such things as asking for updates on progress or hold us to any kind of service level.

Bleh.
