Would the bill go down ?

Perhaps some could advise on my bill, I note that on offer these days is XL broadband at £18.50 so more for on the face of it more for less. How much of the bundle saving would be lost ( I am guessing that this would be the case!)
If I asked to upgrade / down cost!!! the BB.
As I would surely still have the bundle. Logic says it would remain the same- fat chance
Last bill
Line rental £12.74
Phone tv BB bundle saving -£9.50
Talk weekends ( local) 4p plan 0.00*
TV XL £25
Broadband size Medium £20.75

* pointless if this offer is Virgin to Virgin, its years since I had it so no idea what its about.

Re: Would the bill go down ?

Some information which may help or may confuse you even further.

On your bill, you have a £9.50 discount which reduces your price for TV XL down to £23.50 (£1.50 of the discount used) and your BB M charge down to £12.75 (£8 of the discount).

You then have to compare your BB M price of £12.75 with the (discounted) price for BB XL of £18.50, which is £5.75 more.

What I am saying is to expect to pay £5.75 more per month if you upgrade to BB XL. There will also be a modem activation fee of £30 one-off.
