Just had my new Bill

with the price hike included it prompted me to look closer.

I am a VIP(20) customer. the lines on my bill in question are:

2 ADD set top Box £30
V+ HD Box £10
ADD set Box Discount -£18.80

As a Vip user I have
1 V+
1 VHD
1 addnl STB (standard)

as the V+ and the VHD are part of the package it means I'm paying £21.20 for the additional box - is that right?


I also hear of alot of people that receive loyalty discount. I have been a high payer to VM for around 12 years - how do you qualify for a loyalty discount?

No. You are paying £5.60 for the additional box

The calculation is £15 - £9.40. One of these is included in the VIP Bundle calculation (as is the first £10 V+ HD fee) and covered by the VIP bundle discount. It's the second set of this you are paying for for the box over those included in VIP

As for Loyalty discounts, they aren't - they are Customer Relations discounts for those that want to leave (never understood why they are named 'Loyalty'). However Customer Relations have no discounts that match the level of discount on VIP in the first place
