Called last year to upgrade my tv to XL while on the phone was asked if i wanted to upgrade the BB to 20mb asked if i was tied and was told no was also told that a new hub would be sent out.
Called a few times to confirm this in the first few days and was always told that it was on my account that no new contract.
So called again in january to say still no had the hub, got one sent out and self installed.
Now called today to cancel everything and was told that because i had a superhub and had used it i can't cancel as it ties me into another 12 months.

Just upgraded to 20MB myself but was told it would be a 12 month contract in my case which I am perfectly happy about as no plans to move away from VM.
