Just Moved House, Now Have Two Direct Debits Set Up..

Hey all, hope everyone is well..

I moved house mid January and my services were cancelled for the duration that it took for the equpiment to be refitted in my new house, which was about two weeks.. I am on VIP50..

My latest bill is for a credit of £48.24, which is correct.. This is for the services being cancelled from 11th Jan when i rang up to say i was moving house, to 25th Jan when the the equipment was refitted in my new home..

Having checked my online bank account i can now see there is two direct debits set up for Virgin Media.. The direct debit for the account i have always had, which includes the latest bill of £48.24 credit, and now another direct debit with another account number..

Does this mean now that i have moved house i have a new account number?

The account number on my 'Taking Us With You' is the account number of the new direct debit that has appeared on my online banking..

Do i need to cancel the direct debit for the old account number to stop the £96.50 being taken out or do i need to keep it live for the £48.24 to be credited to?

Also, now i have a new account number i presume my first bill since moving house will be for £96.50 and no more, due to the fact i paid for the services in advance when i orginally took out Virgin Media services 5 years ago?

Many thanks for any help.
