Cost of BB upgrade

Could someone confirm the cost of the upgrade from XL to XXL?

Currently have

XL Phone
XL TV with V+ and additional V box
XL BB
V stuff extra (£5 month)

Changed this to XXL BB and removed V stuff extra as it is free with XXL BB. No installation charge or activation fee which was great.

I was quote an increase of £1.50 over the phone which matched the website (I think this was before the March / April increase went on).

Just got a letter with the new T&C's showing £89 per month

Phone up to be told is shows the price is was expecting and the new contract may be a miss-print or discount may not be shown?

I have no problem phone next month if the bill is incorrect just concerned that the new contract shows the wrong costs.

Thanks

Jamie

Re: Cost of BB upgrade

If its a contract letter you have received it will specify that nay discount costs are not included, this would explain the higher cost.

Thanks

Not sure why can't put the discounts on the letter to save confusion?

Because the contract states the contractual length of service (12-18 months) whereas offers can vary from 3-6-9-12 months to ongoing. Your contract will cover the physical installation of services and not a bundle cost.

Re: Cost of BB upgrade

Understood, but it does cause confusion when the contract states a monthly service charge of £X with no reference to the actual costs you will pay.
