Re: Canceling my VM.
Ring 150 from your landline and choose the option for "Thinking of leaving us" and you will be put through to disconnections

Re: Canceling my VM.
You shouldn't need to write to them, as long as you are not locked in a contract no

Re: Canceling my VM.
Just ring up on Monday and follow what has been said above and choose the option "thinking of leaving us" do not bother with the letter as it will take longer and if you send that as well you might confuse the issue.
Why are you leaving have you received a better offer as they could try to match it for you.

Re: Canceling my VM.
The reason I'm leaving is, my son is moving out and the bb, tv is his, so me & the wife will stay on freeview.

Is the account in his name or yours as the account holder will have to call to cancel.

Re: Canceling my VM.
Didnt want to start a new thread, so ill just add onto this.
Im moving out of my mums house, im on VIP 50, account is in my name. Am I able to transfer the account into her name? and change the package? as she doesnt want the movies or sports and wouldnt need the internet. The place im moving into isnt in a VM area so Im unable to transfer my package to my new house.
Thanks

Does your contract still have any time to run or have you been installed over 12 months as otherwise you would have to pay an early disconnection fee, if you are not in contract then read below.
You can do a Transfer of Responsibility which would cost £20 and then she would also start a brand new contract with a new account number and with whatever services she wanted.

Re: Canceling my VM.
Thanks for the quick reply, ive been on VIP since 2007 but I was offered 50mb broadband deal about 3 months ago, where it was free for 6 months and the next 6 months was £5.01 per month, so I have no problem paying up the contract of the 50mb as it only comes to £30.06
