Re: £1 price rise
How are they qualified to tell full paying customers what they have to accept? its not out of order at all . £1 here and a £1 there all adds up to a higher charge for the service. Some of these same people complain when customers get ( or used to get ) discounts when they said they were leaving.
I am not going to let someone paying half of what I pay tell me to accept these extra charges without a moan. Plenty of people on this forum have complained when petrol goes up 1p here and 1p there

Re: £1 price rise
I am saying I beleive I know staff pay less so I stand by my view. How dare someone who pays less tell full paying customers what they have to stomach or not?
I know you guys are all part of the Virgin Media fan club and I for one like the products but the company sucks ass and their business practices well I wont get started on what I think about them

Re: £1 price rise
Well if you want a associate discount get a job with them. Oh no, that would mean you coming off benefits. The horror.

Re: £1 price rise
How much I pay for my services is my business and is part of my employment, so won't discuss it here, as I'm sure you won't be discussing your "perks" either.
but if I was getting the £1 discount, then I too will be losing it.

Re: £1 price rise
Anyone unhappy with this increase can always ring up and complain about it and tell them what you think about the way it was brought in.

It has nothing to do with being in any 'fan club'. Stop trying to cheapen the argument by claiming fanboy'ism either.

Re: £1 price rise
I am doing nothing of the sort your just sticking your nose in cuz you and me have history.
I have a right to my opinion and I am sticking to it. I have spoken personally to at least one member who works for VM and his opinion on the company changes as often as he changes his pants. Benmcr and Masque will not see a word said against VM even in the face of god damn awful after sales service.
Anyway my opinion is plain and made I do not see a need to repeat it again

Re: £1 price rise
*sigh*
Its not a price rise, its a removal of a discount - the price of the service is exactly the same.
When you take a service out elsewhere and they give you a 3/6/whatever month discount, do you rant and rave at the end of the discount period that its a "price rise". When your credit card offers you 0 percent for x months, do you complain they have raised the price when it expires. Do you march into DFS at the end of their latest sale and complain about price rises ? No, of course not.
Oh, and what VM employees may pay is totally irrelevent, so if thats all you want to post about, dont bother, it will be deleted. Stick to the topic.

I advised people to ring up and complain as it is better to speak to an agent rather than post about it here, you never know they may do you a deal or something or even improve your package.
You will never know unless you call.
The above is good genuine advice from a member of staff who is also a long term customer for at least 15 years which is well before I ever worked for the company.

No I am not sticking my nose in - I am making a right to reply, if you don't mind, there is no ruling which states that 'when zing speaks noone can butt in the conversation' and no, me and you do not have 'any history', not the way you make it out to be anyway.

You know how often he changes his pants do you? (Rhetorical question btw) I'd be worried if I was him.
Anyway back to the topic on price rising please.

Ok Paul
The £1 is not a lot of money but this is just one in a row of rises. As a customer of VM my opinion is they suck and should not keep raising my bill.
